Be a Freelance Model with Diversity Models

Diversity Models is proud to onboard freelance commercial models for the following diversity groups:

  • Multicultural models
  • Mature aged models 40+

Our Diversity Models freelance models have greater freedom than other agency models because:

  1. They may work as a freelance model with both our agency projects and with other projects they may have won
  2. They may join and work for another acting agency or modelling agency (please advise your other agency)
  3. They may accept or reject any commercial modelling jobs (adequate notice is required if not accepting a job) 
  4. They may pitch themselves individually for any jobs we post on our website or on our social media
  5. They must Invoice us after each shoot at our agreed project rate
  6. They will join our database of freelance models and allow us to submit them to clients for potential internal projects or briefs provided to our agency
  7. They provide us with permission to pitch you personally for any projects (should we identify you as a suitable applicant)
  8. We won't post your photo or profile on our website, but we will pitch our models for jobs behind scenes 

At the end of the day, our clients make the final decision for all projects. At Diversity Models we are here to give our clients suitable options for the casting of multicultural models and mature age models who fit specific briefs, brands and business projects.

Why We Don't Post Our Models Profiles and Photos Online on Our Website

At Diversity Models we are anti-Tall Poppy Syndrome therefore we will work hard behind scenes to promote and support multicultural and mature age models who shine bright, are ambitious and deserve to be successful in the modelling industry. Therefore we do not post your photos on our website intentionally for the following reasons:

1. We respect that our models have other jobs/ second jobs and so some employers/colleagues may not be aware of your modelling career/job outside of your primary occupation

2. We are against the use of Ai to replicate photos without your consent. We do not want your photos or face manipulated, distributed, animated or associated with Ai-generated work without you being paid for your modelling efforts.

3. We do business and castings quietly on behalf of our freelance models because it's "not what you know, it's who you know" and that is the truth

4. We do not want our models targeted by trolls and those who cannot handle your success in the highly competitive and enjoyable modelling industry.

5. We want you to be able to control what people see of you, therefore we encourage models to post on their own social media to promote themselves

6. Our clients will post your photos in their commercial modelling projects after you have shot with them directly and after you have been paid for your work as a model

7. We want to protect the names, privacy and image of our freelance models

8. We do not want others to hassle our models on social media and try to cut you down

9. We focus on getting the jobs for our freelance models

10. We are proud of our freelance models and we respect your right to be a part of our agency, other agencies and work as a freelancer, without judgement or trolling from those who do not know, understand or appreciate the real behind scenes work and efforts of a hard working modelling agency like Diversity Models
